To closely monitor students and researchers, the Education Council, under the supervision of its President, the Rector of the University, coordinates the candidate selection process and holds periodic meetings to give an account of progress on teaching and research, and also plans internships and seminars, including Science Week or Capacity Building Seminars for Master's and PhD students held by both national and international researchers: WWF, ICRAF, WCS, ERAIFT, CIFOR, CIRAD, RMCA, etc.
It benefits from the expertise of a select committee of professors in technical, administrative and financial aspects. In addition to this small committee, the Council is consolidated by professors from various faculties involved in the training programme, namely the Faculty of Science, the Faculty of Management of Renewable Natural Resources, the Faculty of Social, Administrative and Political Sciences, the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Economics and Management.
